At LPS Hayward we have a fun week we call Week Without Walls. We spend a week learning, exploring, making something we would never get to do in a normal school week. Some groups went hiking, some learned photography for iPhones, some kickboxed every day. I spent a week helping a group of 17 awesome boys and 1 amazing girl establish our bike club-STACK CITY Bikes. We will work with the East Bay Bike Coalition and Bike Rescue to create the coolest club on campus. Scrape bikes, modified bikes, art bikes. . it's all coming! Our first ride out. . .to the gas station for snacks. ![]()

Using a journal to keep your thoughts and ideas organized is a very useful tip. Well, as teachers, we need to be mindful of the things that we teach our students. The responsibility of raising them to be proper individuals rests on our shoulders. Sure, it can be tough and suffocating at times, however, it is also a very satisfying thing to do. It has always been my dream to be a role model and I am happy that I get to do it.
