We hope that we can contribute to our community by creating equipment(tools?) that will assist people in safely social distancing. As COVID-19 continues to spread within the Bay Area, it prolongs the amount of time we have before we can begin returning to the lifestyle we had prior to the outbreak. We hope that through the work we do, we can help reduce the number of cases, keep our neighbors and family safe, and help people return to a life outdoors.
Who We're Aiming to Help..
Although we wish we could assist everyone in our community, our time and resources are limited. Therefore, we want to prioritize the aid of:
- healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers, homeless shelters, etc...
So far, we have had two runs of fabric masks. The first run (above) was made from t-shirts donated from Temple. These masks went to Rise Homeless Shelter. The second run (right) were made of fabrics we collected ourselves and were donated to Ruby's Place Rehabilitation.
